    Here is another map i made from scratch using GIMP. I left it pretty blank so it can be populated with whatever. Maybe there is some sort of underground entrance, maybe it is being used as a fortification for a small raiding party ... that's up to you and your copy of GIMP ... hope someone can use it.

    You might try adding a blue/gray or green/gray or even red/gray tone to one of the layers in these cave maps.. it'll give you a bit more pizazz than the gray on gray.

    i usually add a bit more to my maps but for these i was going for speed. i did the last two in about 10-15 minutes each. green is usually my go to

    Sorry.. didn't mean to offend with my comment.
    I just assumed by the way these looks that you did them by compiling multiple layers (3 in this case)... I thought it might be very cool if one of the layers had a different tint to it.
    One of the things I've really liked about your maps is the use of simple color.
    It is simple enough to tint these images as a whole.. but obviously doing the individual layers after the fact is a bit more complicated.
