Check your mouse driver/settings. Many drivers will have the middle button (or scroll wheel) set for "Auto" Which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Explicitly set it to "Middle Mouse" for FG.

From these logs it doesn't look like the issue is on your end. Can you supply the GM's logs in addition to your own the next time this happens?

    Morning @smelton,

Just wanted to ask and find out what FG is thinking with respect to unity + FG + LX = mouse wheel issue? As per the various posts within this thread I am just curious to find out how it will be tackled? Will it be tackled? Is there anything the community can do?

I'm currently working on this one

Hi, trying to install my ultimate version.
    OS Linux 5.4 Ubuntu 20.04 64 bits
Initial install seems ok, but on main screen the "Check for Updates" button has a red border.
When clicking on it, the updater isn't launched and in the log I have :
[ERROR] Updater: Unable to locate program
    (/usr/share/smiteworks/fantasygrounds/FantasyGroundsUpdater)
Such a file does not exist in the "/usr/share/smiteworks/fantasygrounds" directory.
I used the FGUWebInstall.bin file provided on the site for linux users.
It installed FGU v4.0.1 ULTIMATE (2020-11-11)

    Any clue ?

Sounds like you have remnants of a previous installation that used the deb installer... Try this and check to make sure you have permissions to the .smiteworks directory:

sudo dpkg -r fantasygroundsinstaller && sudo rm -fr /usr/share/smiteworks && sudo rm -fr ~/.config/smiteworks

    chown -R user:user ~/.smiteworks

    Then rerun the bin installer

I'm using KDE and I can't find any options for this in the mouse settings. I'll keep looking. If it matters (which I doubt), I'm using a logitech mouse.

I'm using KDE as well. Anyway our main man @smelton is going to fix this in a few days!
