Since the update to effects, I've been having issues with Save results showing in the chat for my players. Show GM rolls is off, Show results to client is On, but if I target them with a save, they can't see the save roll or the result. I've messed around with the settings a bit, trying only friendly results or showing GM rolls, and the only way to get them to see the save roll is to show GM rolls. Is this the intended functionality going forward?

I'm not 100% sure what you're missing - is it the PC save roll, the result, both?

The only way I can recreate targeting the PC, triggering a save, not seeing the result with the settings you mention, is if the NPC is hidden in the combat tracker - which is expected functionality.

I've tested 4 different scenarios - referring to the screenshot below:

1. Visible NPC triggers automatic saving throw on PC - result is shown, roll is not shown as this is counted as a GM roll, even though it's a PC making the roll.
2. Not visible NPC triggers automatic saving throw on PC - result is not shown, roll is not shown as this is counted as a GM roll, even though it's a PC making the roll.
3. Visible NPC triggers saving throw via PCROLL effect on PC, PC rolls the save - dice roll total is shown as well as result.
4. Not visible NPC triggers saving throw via PCROLL effect on PC, PC rolls the save - dice roll total is shown but the result is hidden.

If you really want to see the PC roll, then I suggest using the PCROLL functionality - enabled in campaign options -> Ruleset Functionality -> Players roll PC targeted saves, or hold down the ALT key while triggering the save.

Thanks as always Trenloe, you found the issue. I usually kept the NPCs hidden on the Combat Tracker and had no issue showing the result to my players. That's an easy fix, I'll make sure to show all NPCS at the start of combat.

Hi, I'm posting about this here because even though we have both Player Core 2 ORC and the paid-for Player Core 2 loaded Whispers of the Void is not appearing in spell lists. We think that maybe it was not included by mistake.

I did some research and it seems that Whispers of the Void (LINK: https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=2046) is indeed part of Player Core 2.

I can't seem to see the Animist Dedication feat while I have War of Immortals loaded. I see the other archetype feats, such as "Basic Animist Spellcasting", or "Animist's Power", but I cannot see the dedication feat. It also doesn't appear on the list when I click the "Dedications" button, despite Exemplar Dedication appearing on both lists.
