Crash when importing/exporting on Linux (Wayland)
Not sure if this is a known issue, or not.
I'm using Linux and when I try to import or export a character, FGU just crashes when I use it under Wayland. It otherwise works fine for me.
I saw this crash happen already some time ago, but then it seemed to be working again. Today I witnessed the issue again and realized, the one time it was working, I was playing with an X session instead of Wayland.
Using this workaround seems to work:

I can play pretty much normally in a Wayland session, but I guess any kind of native file dialog might crash FGU. With Wayland apparently going more mainstream/default, it might be of interest to get this sorted.
Happened with 5e, Core, XCore... with and without extensions, so I guess ruleset and extension independent issue.
My system:
AMD CPU & GPU
Arch Linux
KDE Plasma 6, WaylandLast edited by Speculi; May 5th, 2024 at 23:55.

Yeah, it's a known issue with Wayland. Specifically, the file dialog library we use doesn't work with Wayland. It's on our list to fix, but hasn't bubbled to the top yet. You have to run X11 session to avoid the issue for now.

You can add:
GDK_BACKEND=x11
on the line in front of the application execution
