Anyway to Parse pdf rulebooks?
Title says it all.
I have hard copies of the core rulebooks, and pdf copies on my desktop.
The parser tool wont work since i dont have a ddi account, and making a new one wont let u access the compendium.
Is there a way to make the parser look at the pdf rulebooks on my desktop instead of trying to log into the compendium.

You can now snag a subscription from this link: https://gc.digitalriver.com/store/dn...pbPage.wizards and use Valeros parser: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...4E-Item-Parser
Thanks to comicspop for finding that link!

Hey guys, I left tabletop gaming (distance...) well before 4th Ed.
I had been excited however, reading all the "online" aspects touted. I once tried to get a DDI sub just to check it out but it appeared to have been closed. If this allows you to start a sub even if never had one, is there anything available from it that is of use for non 4E play, like downloadable graphics, maps, tokens etc? For use in my FG games?

This is for drag and drop powers and abilities, monsters/ NPCs, weapons and magic items.
They are coded to work with automation. So you don't have to manually input everything.
No maps or token.
But you can find those with Google searches

They are pretty easy to put in your file folders so you can use them.

I stand corrected. 8 hours of parsing. to have it freeze up on a feat. It never finished. I dont remember this being so clunky last time 8).. I dont know if i just waisted 8 hours or what??
