Altering XP Treshhold for 5e ruleset.
Greetings,
It came to my attention the hard way, that xp to next level has been locked to a linear progression out of my control.
is there a different way that i am not aware of on how to change xp to next level to make my own xp progression. i certainly couldnt find anything in the ingame gm options
rather annoyed that this was added.
thanks in advance for suggestions.

The xp progression is as per the rules written into the Player’s Handbook. You would need an extension to change that if you needed it, but you can use the alternative milestone progression as detailed in the Dungeon Master’s Guide and as used in many adventure modules. You can ignore xp altogether; you are not bound by any numbers. FGVTT doesn’t force a level up; it just tracks the total xp.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Thanks for your response,
im fairly certain that up until like 2 month-ish ago this wasnt a thing. i could alter the xp how i wanted without it being locked from edit. how did this change in the first place?
Also where can i find such an extension

It’s was never editable; though it was not tracked at all until the last few years.
Not aware of anyone that has written an extension for that.
Alternately, You could just adjust the XP you give up/down to fit what you want the progression to me without changing the system numbers.
