A link in story text to roll dice? Is that possible?
Simple question and probably a silly one -- but working on a home brew . Is it possible I could have a link of some sort in the actual story text that would roll dice?
Like for example in the notes I have some NPC dialogue , one of the responses a player character gives results in damage (by magical means).
I was wondering if I could just have a link to click on and it would roll the damage?
If so what would the coding look like?
Thanks.Last edited by Mytherus; April 29th, 2025 at 23:13.

No, there is nothing in the story text section that would trigger rolls, apply damage, or perform any action. It's purely for textual information and links.

You can create a chat frame and type slash commands for it to roll dice by use /roll 1d6. These will be simple rolls and not linked to any record.
