Roleplay & Combat mix: Player determined but shooting for 50/50.
Number of Players in game & needed: Have 6 players, looking for 2 more. (Looking for a total of 8 to offset those that cant make it some weeks)
Character starting level & equipment: Starting at level 1 Standard PHB (Party has 1 2nd level and most have started new characters again due to a near party TPK)
Character restrictions: Only core races and classes. I have all the rules/complete books for 2e. Only ones not being used are: Complete book of Necromancers, Complete book of Ninjas and most of the Complete book of humanoids.

Details of your scenario: This will take place in Frog God Games The Lost Lands. Players will start out heading to the small community of Zelkor’s Ferry. They have decided to tag along as “guards” for a small caravan headed to Zelkor’s Ferry. They have been promised 50gp each upon arriving. After arriving there they are invited to head back with the caravan to where they started.

Upcoming days June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26, Aug 9, Aug 23....

As mentioned above the party nearly wiped out so most players will be starting with fresh characters. They have made some headway and are heavily into RP even amongst themself. This is party driven and they are enjoying their time. Need 2 people to round out the party. At the moment we have a Mage, Fighter/Thief, and Cleric. The rest are yet to be determined.

If there's still room, I think I'd like to give it a shot. Extremely familiar with 1e. Have played 2e, though not as much as 1e but there's a lot of carryover.

I have Fantasy Grounds but haven't used it. My experience has been with Roll20 in the past.
