Not recognizing Difficulty
For some reason, our game suddenly stopped recognizing the difficulty I assigned to dice rolls. I have included a screen cap, and used an arrow to show that D2 has been selected. However, as you see in the chat, above that, it records a HIT, despite only having one Success. Is there some setting that I am missing, or is this a weird glitch?

Attacks are reliant on the defense of the defender and not related to global difficulty. Those are for non-combat rolls.

Your answer might need more detail.
Range, condition, and Perks can all adjust difficulty. None of those are handled by the game, and need to be adjusted by the Overseer.

This can be accomplished using effects to adjust such things. In the case you presented, you could use the 'DEFENSE: #' effect to adjust the number of successes needed to hit the target

I will need to check how to apply them, I guess. My players and I, all swear that it used to work, the way I described. Hence, why I only brought it up, after more than a year. Thank you for the help.
