I upvoted your feature request, but I would not get my hope high up and would look to other VTT that have a better support for Star Trek Adventures.

Anyone can become a community developer. If you want better support you could always type the books in yourself and sell them on the store.

Star Trek Adventures 2E has been released and is part of the 1E ruleset. You can switch between the two versions like how 5e can switch. I will be closing that request as it's now implemented.
