Got the module and wondering how to use the optional rules in the system like gear scaling?

I don't have the module. I also haven't seen any announcements from SW that the ruleset has been enhanced to add new automation. That leads me to think you will have to edit the gear that is on the character sheet manually as needed to scale up the gear.

Why purchase this overpriced module if the team is not willing to put in the work?
