Within a campaign, what's the difference between a Mission and a Story

I'm experimenting with creating a campaign. What is the difference between a Mission and a Story?

A story entry is for tracking information about an adventure or book that you want to have available. Most modules come with a reference manual, story entries or both to serve this need. These entries are often pinned to maps in adventures for map lookups; and stories/manuals are often laid out in the same format as books with links to all the other records (other stories, maps, encounters, NPCs, etc.)

A mission entry is also called a "quest" entry in other rulesets. It's specifically for tracking quests/missions that the players can take on, are currently pursuing, or have completed.

Also missions have a "GM Notes" section which the players don't see when it's shared with them.
Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

I use the Mission for small side quest and patron encounters.
Drop them as a hidden pin on the map. Then I as GM can keep track where the players can encounter them.
Then it also help the players keep track of the goals of the mission when I make them visible.
