Details of the scenario:
The port town of Otari lies on the southern coast of the Isle of Kortos - about half-way between the city of Absalom and the town of Diobel - and has a reputation as a quiet little town known mostly for its twin exports of fish and lumber.

The fortress to the north of the town has a far more ominous repuation, however. Constructed 500 years ago by a powerful sorceress to aid in her machinations, it was the site of a devastating and climactic battle between the sorceress and the adventuring group that would go on to found the town of Otari. Since then, the fortress - now little more than ruins - has been abandoned as the townsfolk are either too smart or too scared (or in some cases, both) to disturb them.

Recently, however, local occult expert Wrin Sivinxi has become concerned about the signs of activity in the ruins and has tasked a group of budding heroes to investigate, who have already had to battle their way through a variety of monsters and have thwarted two separate attacks on the town, despite having barely scratched the surface of the ruins...

The Abomination Vaults is a megadungeon campaign that starts with level 1 characters and continues up to level 10 or 11.
