Support for Shotguns & Sorcery style Races (Ancestries)?

Saagael, any chance we could have an Options setting to allow support for Shotguns & Sorcery style Ancestries? It moves the the Stat Pool points assignments from the Type to the Race (Ancestry), but other than that change the Race (Ancestry) is just treated as a 2nd Descriptor.

    Some more details on this:

The S&S Race/Ancestry provides the Might, Speed, and Intellect Stats starting values along with a Flex value, it does not provide Effort or Cypher User values, or starting Edge or any abilities per Tier. The Type stills also provides a Flex value, it just no longer provides the Might, Speed, and Intellect Stats starting values.

Sorry it's been a few months and I haven't responded to this. You can already hack this together with the ruleset as is. If you change the starting stats and flex stats of your Types to 0, and then add stat Features to your Ancestries that add whatever the starting value was, plus the flex stats, you can make it work.

For example, the Warrior type might have its starting stats all set to 0, but the Dwarf ancestry could have 4 Features: one that adds 10 to Might, one adds 8 to Speed, one that adds 9 to Intellect, and one that grants 6 Flex stat points. The important thing here is you MUST apply the Type first in this case, as applying a type do a hard set for the stats. If you apply the ancestry first, it will overwrite any changes done there.

Actually, it's only been a little bit over a month.

Cool hack, I'll definitely give this a try, thanks!
