That is part of the Savage World Ruleset. SW uses cards for initiative. It is also possible to deal five cards to each player that only the player and GM see and deal five cards to a hand that everyone sees (like a dealer).

oh, I have not seen that before. Maybe something like a "Critical Hits Deck" could be made?
