That looks good. Is there a FantasyGrounds.exe in the App Directory? If not then you need to check if your Antivirus is quarantining it.

If there is a FantasyGrounds.exe in the directory then it has installed. If it isn't running then it's likely that the shortcut isn't pointing at the correct place. Can you open FG from the FantasyGrounds.exe directly from the install folder?
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

i already did that and opened FG, not FGU. i don't have any idea why this happened, but i'm thinking about formatting my computer, maybe this fix whatever is causing the issue.

It sounds like you are looking in the wrong folder and/or your shortcuts are pointing to the wrong folder perhaps? Or maybe you installed one version over the top of another version?
FGU installs by default to:
Application = C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\
Data = C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\
FGC installs by default to:
Application = C:\Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds\
Data = C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds\
You should never use the same folders for FGC and FGU.
In general, I would uninstall both, make sure the program file folders are gone, make sure the shortcuts are gone, then only install FGU.
