limited to only a single promotional sale per item ?

Is there a limit to frequency of sales ?

I created a promotional sale when first releasing my extension on Forge.
It worked fine, no issues noted.

But now, I am trying to put on a new sale for memorial day holiday.

However, despite changing the dates around multiple times -- its not working as expected.
Instead, it keep showing "No matching records found"!

User error? or is the feature broken or am I hitting some undocumented limits??

May have found the answer elsewhere ... "Sales for the same item cannot have start dates within 8 weeks of each other, so you might be running into that."

(update) yep, just confirmed. setting the start date +8 weeks was the issue. sorry folks, no memorial day discount :/
