Very High GPU usuage 99% for FGU
I have read the other messages concerning performance issues but it seems nothing has helped since the latest update.
I used to run about 40% GPU but now its running 94-99% constantly with no players and no maps up.
I have tried /vsync with no changes
I mage sure my settings are Application controlled
I have
windows 10
Intel i5-7400 quad core
8gb RAM
sata2 samsung evo860 ssd hdd
geforce gt610
I used dual screen on the GT610 but going single screen does not seem to help.
The only application that uses this much gpu is so far FGU. Other apps hover about 50-60%

It sounds like a setting got changed somewhere along the line; maybe with a graphics driver or windows update. So further details here that might help https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...cing+GPU+Usage
me
You might also try rebooting your computer (not shut down but restart). Removing the FGU client (just completely delete the install folder - NOT your data folder) and re-install from the store page.If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

I find /imagequality (used for LOS and FOW) makes a big difference...
I run a 4K monitor and don't MAX out my GPU

full shutdown and restart did not seem to help.. I will go about checking all the drivers update and / or roll back any changed recently and report back.
So far I dont see this issue with any other app yet.. but I am not a heavy gamer by any means.. Games I play like WOW or Shatterline work fine.
The fun part is the investigation i guess...

What can also happen is that video drivers / control panels can override application specified frame rates and force to unlimited, make sure to log into the control panel for your graphics card and make sure that the settings are set for applications to control their own frame rates.
Example: https://www.howtogeek.com/509097/how...idias-drivers/
You can also try "/vsync 0" chat command to set the FPS to 60 fixed; instead of syncing to your monitor's refresh rate. (Or /vsync 1-4 to synch to every monitor refresh frame, every other frame, every third frame, etc.) The default is to synch to every monitor refresh frame.
