Thread: Mines

    Mines

Gathering some thoughts on creation of a map. I'm thinking like Indiana Jones themed, fighting on fast moving mine carts. I'm figuring on using layers, and looking for some mine tiles (hopefully). Any other suggestions would be welcome as I embark on this project. Thnx in advance...

CC3+ with DD3 does caves and mines pretty well.

What would you be using layers for? They do not work well for height levels.

I was thinking instead of moving the cart to the next area, just remove a layer and the next layers layout would be there. Still just a thought process.

I actually like that idea as the scene transition could give the feeling of moving along the tracks with great speed. Neat idea for sure.

Test this with LOS and the revealed FOW. If you are going to use them, I'm not sure it will work like you want. BUT, if you are going to reveal the whole room/scene (no LOS, but maybe just lightning) then I think it would work well.
