GenCon 2023
Well after 5 years my wife and I will finally get back to GenCon. First we moved and bought a house which tightened finances, then we had some medical issues that further tightened finances, then pandemic.
Still can't afford to stay downtown though so will be staying with her son in Fishers just on the outskirts of Indy.Paul Grosse

That's cool. I haven't been to GenCon in ages - a decade or more? It was a bit overwhelming but it's something every gamer should visit at least once. I'm focused on online games atm (not surprisingly) but this year, hoping to hit one or two local and smaller conventions.

That's very cool -- hope you enjoy your return!
For my wife and I, GenCon is our only real 'vacation', so we were very glad to get back to it in 2022.
