    Fantasy Grounds - Beta Release v4.3.1

    As always, we're a small company so we rely on our community to help sound out each new release. Thanks in advance to all those who pitch in.

    Accessing the Beta
    Only the Test mode slot contains this version. Test Mode can be accessed by selecting the Settings button from the Fantasy Grounds launch screen, changing the mode setting in the Settings dialog, and then selecting Update button to update the files to the test version. I will update this thread as I release new iterations of the test version.

    Beta Data
    When using the Test channel in Fantasy Grounds Settings, your data files for the Test version will be stored in a separate subfolder under the main Fantasy Grounds data folder called "channels\Test\". This will not impact any campaigns in the Live mode (until full release occurs).

    Key Things
    1) Always backup your campaign data before running the test version.
    2) If the GM is running on Test channel, then all of the players will also be running on Test channel.
    3) If you encounter an issues log them in the relevant testing thread - don't use the generic House of Healing, but use this forum.
    4) Do not use the Test build for your games if you and your group are not comfortable with testing pre-release software.
    5) Do not use the Test build for developer DLC for store or forge submission (as the data file formats may have changed, or will change more during the beta).

    Consolidated Update Notes

    Client Updates
    • Dice size can be adjusted between 80-120% of default size.
    • Dice rolls are now synched to top-left of chat window between clients for better roll visibility between clients of different resolutions and chat window sizes.
    • D4 die visual text display adjusted to match other dice models.
    • Adding dice via right click would cause dice skins to reset when rolled. Fixed.
    • Adding rolls to hot key bar would forget dice skins. Fixed.
    • Dice skin for Enchant Aura - Storm not using correct visual effect. Fixed.
    • Modifier dice added to roll on dice tower drop caused exception. Fixed.
    • Dice dropped near edges of chat window would sometimes drop through table. Fixed.
    • D100 (tens and ones dice) and DF (fudge dice) displayed as wrong models on remote client. Fixed.
    • Image data panel would not remember data entered for some fields unless Enter expressly used. Fixed.
    • Image pointers would not update distance correctly on remote clients when resized. Fixed.
    • Painted lines on images would stop displaying on screen after a large number of lines drawn. Fixed.
    • Ambient lighting on map not updating when ambient lighting color setting changed. Fixed.
    • Selection and movement of line-of-sight blocker points across multiple blockers was not correct. Fixed.
    • [DEV] Remove campaign.xml from log compilation.
    • [DEV] Reduced onMeasurePointer calls by caching distance label data for targeting arrows.
    • [DEV] addBitmapWidget/addTextWidget APIs updated to support table-based initialization. (bitmapwidget: icon, w, h) (textwidget: text, font, w) (widget: tooltip, tooltipres, position, x, y, frame, frameoffset, color)
