    Adding Spell Energy/points/mana.. whatever

    Hello people.

    Finally got FG2, and am preparing to run a Midnight game for a group of friends.

    I can "manage" (sort of) editing the modules so it'll contain the Midnight SRD. My main concern is modifying the Spell Sheet (in the character sheet) so that it'll have a Spell energy box instead of all those slots.

    I'd like at the top of the page to have something like so:

    0-th level        Spell  Casting  chn.     misc
    per day          Energy   Abi.    lvl.
    or something to the effect.

    Anybody got any ideas on how I can go about this?

    I'm not sure what you want to hear. Obviously you want the spells tab of the character sheet, so you'll be editing charsheet_spells.xml I don't know the specifics of your rules though, so I can't tell you what to do with it. Sounds like the existing sheet is pretty useless to you, so starting from scratch may be your best option.

    From the names of the fields you gave, it seems you want to use a system similar to the spellpoint system outlined in Unearthed Arcana and the SRD for D&D 3.5.

    I haven't worked on it since my game died (over 6 months ago) but I think it would be interesting to work on the backside of FGII again. PM me if you are interested in collaborating.
