Automatic addition of class and race traits and abilities

I now bought new player handbook.
In description oc the player handbook it ays:
"Automatic addition of class and race traits and abilities when you drag the class link to your character's level summary."
I have no idea how to do that.
I tried to pull and drop the (for example) monk link from player handbook to nearly every field on char sheet, but nothing happens.
Can someone please explain me ?

I don't have the Player's Handbook, but I have the Quickstart rules.

When I drag a class link from the Classes list to a PC sheet I get a "Class Loader" window appear.

Thx a lot, your screenshot helped me.
I used the wrong shortcut to drag and drop an character sheet. Works now !
Think I am done for now with noob questions, great help here !
