    PFRPG - Bestiary

    PFRPG - Bestiary

    This module adds spell and special ability actions and effects to monsters from the Pathfinder Bestiary. (see attached image). The spells are all copied from the PFRPG - Spellbook Extended module. While the special ability actions and effects are manually created.

    Note: This should work for FG Classic but has not been tested on FG Classic. Additionally some of the extensions it uses may no longer be compatible with FG Classic.

    Bestiary Versions
    For copyright reasons neither of the Bestiary's contain images or tokens.

    There are two versions of the Bestiary that address this issue.

    PFRPG - Bestiary - Blank
    This version has no images in it at all. But there are placeholders for all the tokens and images. If you have your own images and tokens you can unzip the module, replace the placeholder tokens and images with your own, then rezip the module. As long as you used the same image and token name these will automatically appear in the module.

    PFRPG - Bestiary - Linked
    This version links to the official Fantasy Grounds version of the Pathfinder Bestiary and uses the tokens and images from that module. You must own, and have loaded, the official Fantasy Grounds version of the Pathfinder Bestiary in order to link to these images.

    Required Extensions and Modules
    These bestiary modules have a number of other modules and extensions that are required to get full functionality out of them. Technically you don't need any of these but you will lose a significant amount of functionality if you don't use them.

    Extensions
    Extended automation and overlays By Kelrugem
    This is the big one. If you only load a single extension it should be this one. A large number of the actions and effects in this module are dependent on this extension.

    Aura Effect by bmos
    Not as critical as some of the other extentions. A few spells and special abilities use this but it will have limited impact if you don't use this extension.

    Live Hit Points by bmos
    This extension is not required. All of the monsters have been setup to use Live Hit Points but will load with default hit points if you don't have this extension.

    A large number of spells and special abilities use this extension.

    Mirror Image Handler by darrenan
    Some of the spells use this. This extension is useful but is not required.

    This module makes extensive use of this extension. Numerous spells and special abilities are set to automatically load when the monster is added to the combat tracker.

    New version uploaded with some minor changes.

    Shambling Mound - Removed the poison. Shambling Mounds don't have poison so this was an erroneous item.
    Remorhaz - Added an effect for their heat ability.

    Version three has been uploaded to the forge. This was an overall update to add some newer effects.

    Added effects for the Critical Focus, Combat Expertise, and Mobility feats.

    Updated the Sneak Attack effect to use the suggested syntax from Kelrugem's Extended automation and overlays extension.

    Updated numerous spells so they use the latest effects from the PFRPG - Spellbook Extended.

    Standardized the effects for Grab/Grapple and Swallow Whole.

    Hi Dllewell. First off thanks for these extensions, been loving them, PC's not so much ;-)
    Noticed there is an error on the coding for Duergar. Online, and in the PF Bestiary, and PF monster codex it lists that they have immunity to paralysis, phantasms, and poison.

    In the PFRPG Linked bestiary it shows, fire and poison. When added to the tracker it gives them paralysis and poison. (The PF one only gives paralysis.)

    Thank you celebrindal I will get this change made. Will also get the skeleton champion change that you sent me.

    Things are a little hectic right now so probably going to be a week before I get these done.

    Ok the only other one I've spotted with the critters i've placed is for the Minotaur.

    Minotaur

    Update non-id name from:

    Powerfully built man with bull head 2

    to:

    Powerfully built man with a bull's head or

    Powerfully built man with the head of a bull

    The changes identified by celebrindal have been made.

    Duergar now has the correct IMMUNE effects.

    Non-id name for the minotaur has been changed.

    Updated to include the latest changes from the PFRPG - Spellbook Extended

    Rat Swarm updated to have the correct half damage effect.
