FG Unity - Beta Release v4.1.14
FG Unity v4.1.14 is now in beta testing.
As always, we're a small company so we rely on our community to help sound out each new release. Thanks in advance to all those who pitch in.
Only the Test mode slot contains this version. Test Mode can be accessed by selecting the Settings button from the Fantasy Grounds launch screen, changing the mode setting in the Settings dialog, and then selecting Update button to update the files to the test version. I will update this thread as I release new iterations of the test version.
When using the Test channel in FGU Settings, your data files for the Test version will be stored in a separate subfolder under the main FG data folder called "channels\Test\". This will not impact any campaigns in the Live mode (until full release occurs).
Key Things
1) Always backup your campaign data before running the test version.
2) If the GM is running on test then all of the players will also be running on test.
3) If you encounter an issues log them in the relevant testing thread - don't use the generic House of Healing, but use this forum.

NOTE: Please do not use the beta build for your Live games if you and your group are not comfortable with testing pre-release software, and any interruptions that may occur due to using pre-release software.
NOTE: Please do not use the beta build for developing DLC for store or forge submission, as the data file formats may have changed and may change during the beta still.

Consolidated Update Notes
- Image token fog of war data simplified and reduced for performance considerations.
- Large image token fog of war data sets would cause slow save times for database. Fixed.
- Console exception error when applying quick pointer while hovering over previous quick pointer. Fixed.
- Console error about failed cleanup when returning to launcher after unloading modules. Fixed.
- Console error about image loading in reference manuals when players do not have local copy of module. Fixed.
- If campaign loaded, return to launcher, and connect as player; chat from player game appended to previous campaign chat log. Fixed.
- Extra number sign in font attribute of chat log output. Fixed.
- Player client did not update token visibility states if selected token deleted by GM when not using party vision/movement option. Fixed.
- Invalid token positions from extensions could interfere with LoS calculations. Fixed.
- Certain planned token movement paths could cause token to disappear. Fixed.
- Image windows open to FGC-sourced module image records would show map image in wrong position. Fixed.
- Default value of number fields not being restored on backspace/delete after initial creation. Fixed.
- Typing minus sign in number field as first character would set field to append mode, instead of resetting to zero first. Fixed.
- Font underline position calculation varied incorrectly across different fonts and field sizes. Fixed.
- Caret color did not match text color when entering text at end of a line (or empty line). Fixed.
- [DEV] Adjusted priority order of custom dice over default dice in dice expression calculations. (i.e. d6H > d6)
- [DEV] Module.export function updated to support ruleset enhancements.
- [DEV] Added /gc command to perform immediate memory cleanup.
- [DEV] Added Utility API functions: decodeCSV, encodeCSV, decodeJSON, encodeJSON
- [DEV] Added stringcontrol tags: underline, controlline, controllineoffset

- [DEV] Added /gc command to perform immediate memory cleanup.
- [DEV] Utility.encodeJSON not encoding Lua boolean values. Fixed.
- [DEV] Utility.encodeJSON script error when encoding numerical indexes in non-array tables. Fixed.
- [DEV] Utility.decodeJSON did not convert keys which mapped to integer indexes back to numbers when when decoding. Fixed.

- Fog of war simplification adjusted slightly to work better with curved LoS.
- Fog of war would disappear in inner regions when completing a circuit. Fixed.
- Invalid token positions from extensions could interfere with LoS calculations. Fixed.
- Caret no longer centered in text field. Fixed.
- Caret color did not match text color when entering text at end of a line (or empty line). Fixed.
