Request which should go into the wishlist
Not much of a bug, but small enhancement:
When HALF modifier is used and the damage is rolled without targeting a creature in CT (sometimes players don't target and I have to drag & drop the damage), the damage is not halved automatically in the chat log. This requires the GM to manually halve the result using the right-click menu before dragging to the target of the attack.
The desired behavior is similar to the MAX modifier - the damage to be halved prior displaying the result. This saves GM time and avoids players saying this is bugged.
MOD: Moved out of bug reports since it's not a bug reportLast edited by Zacchaeus; February 2nd, 2022 at 09:01.

I just tested this on 5E. The only time that a "HALF" roll is made is on a damage roll. When that damage roll is dragged from the chat window to the combat tracker, the damage is correctly halved.
It is similar in other D&D style rulesets.
