Icewind Dale; the desolate north of the Sword Coast, home to Ten-Towns, a small collection of hamlets that bear the toughest and strongest lost souls of the realm. Over the last two years, the days have grown ever short while the nights drag on and on turning the frigid north into an unbearable cold. The citizens of Ten-Towns pray to the Frostmaiden for this everlasting rime to end, but their prayers have fallen on deaf ears. Inhabitants of Icewind Dale are growing desperate and they need adventurers like you to end this Everlasting Rime, before the cold takes all, leaving nothing but ice.
