How to share map when image is put as background?
I run LMOP and RtfM and when using maps, I found that it is super convenient to put them as background and have the CT and other windows on top. Unfortunately, the sub-menu option to share the image with the players is missing when the map is stretched (the first phase, where the chat box and sidebars are visible). Is there a way to share the image in this mode?

No, share the map before you put it to the background. You can preshare images by right clicking and selecting share when no-one is connected and your players will upload the map when they join. You can then just ask them to open the map from the images and map list or drag the shortcut into chat so they can click on that to open the image.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

I believe you need to share it before you place it as background.

Thought so. Both are not convenient things unfortunately. I guess this is feature request categorized as Quality of Life.
- Pre-share copies the image to client, but does not make it available in their library before GM issues the command
- Map can be shared while image is on the background. The past is a rudder to guide us, not an anchor to hold us back.
