Nothing happens when I start FGU
Just like the title says, today I tried to start up FGU and nothing happened. I was like, "did I double click correctly?" and tried it again. And nothing. I opened the task manager and several instances of FGU was open. I closed them all down, restarted the computer and I still have the same problem. I've tried opening it directly from the exe app and nothing happens. I see it open in task manager, but it shows no CPU movement.

It worked fine a few days ago. I'm running Windows 10 (64bit) and not through Steam. Any thoughts?

Check that your anti virus isn’t the problem. I’ve seen reports on Discord that Avast is suddenly averse to FG.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Yeah, I had to completely uninstall Malwarebytes and it started working again. Was there a recent FGU update that conflicts with standard antivirus software? I've been using Malwarebyes forever.
Edit: Forgot to say thanks Zacchaeus! Thank you!Last edited by kyleeliason; June 11th, 2021 at 03:03.

No, not exactly. Updates change the file size and other factors used by anti-virus software to identify programs uniquely. So every time a program updates, the security program has to decide, is this jut an update to a trusted program, or did a virus just hide itself as a program? FG is too small of a program for the security companies to track, so their programs have to try and figure it out. Sometimes they get it wrong.
