Updated Fantasy Ground Unity - I am lost

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I really need some help. I am not great at fantasy ground unity, but I got things figured out to work for my group. I went to run my game tonight. I did the update as I usually do. I did noticed that it seemed to be a big one, but I didn't realize how much had changed. I opened a map and everything was crazy. I usually run it without the lighting and all the fancy stuff. I just use mask and open up areas. It took me a bit to turn that stuff off, but then nobody could see each other. Eventually I found how to make a character always visible, but then I have to do that all the time. I was wasting my players time as I struggled to figure all this out. Some things it seems the map has to be enlarged, but now that covers up the text box area. I tried an encounter I hit NPCs visible and then everyone disappeared to every one else. It was a frustrating night that I had to just end early.

Can anyone help walk me through some of these changes and how I can get it to work the way it worked for me before?

I haven't used the new version yet myself. Do note, it is strongly suggest never to update right before game time. It's too prone for causing issues like this one. I always try to update right after my game session, never before.
