    Combat & Automation - new GM stuck on what to do

    I brought the Alien RPG on Fantasy Grounds yesterday (FGU) and for the life of me can't work out how the automated combat works... I have read the FG manual that comes with it but it didn't help....

    Has anyone got a step by step or video of it in use?

    I was testing with a friend but nothing seemed to be applying damage, when trying to use stunts we were getting errors and the reference to 'pausing', was not obvious.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello Carok101, did you check the PDF that is coming with the core ruleset? It is in the /docs directory, where the steps during combat are explained.

    I am recent to the ruleset. Is that PDF supposed to auto download into the docs? I have a few items there from other rulesets, but not for Alien. Is there an alternate way to secure it?

    Any PDFs distributed with DLC should be located in a "docs" subfolder within the FG Data Folder.

    (You can quickly get to the FG data folder using the folder button at the top of the FG launch screen.)
