    I think it is for pathfinder/3.5e but only if you run your game on FG unity, not FG classic

    oooohhk lol my bad.

    for some reason, i had in my mind up until now "3.5E/Pathfinder" = fg classsic. d'oh!

    oh well... i was kinda excited about it working for classic.

    thx @kelrugem for being so patient with my being dense X-D

    I think if you download kentmccullough's last 5E version and add the ruleset tags it will work in Classic (I think). But the Unity versions have a lot of improvements you'll be missing.

    Yep it does work if you change the ruleset tag (that's what I'm using)

    yea... tested it. not getting error message anymore, but aura does not work, i.e. friend in said range but no bonus.

    the bonus is on and only works with the actor with aura script.

    so all i'm supposed to do is set AURA: 10 friend; Aura of Protection; SAVE: 5 to the actor, correct?
    then any ally within range should pick up bonus?

    yup, looks like I was wrong and that will not work with Classic :\
    Although, you do need to move the actor before the FROMAURA effects show up (or close and open the map).

    (when you say "FROMAURA effects show up", do you mean it actually gets populated as new effect on ally in the combat tracker?
    if that is true, nothing.)

    gave it another go -- moved tokens, close / reopen map, scratched-head-rub-belly while walking around block, applied wd40 -- no dice. thx

    edit: wait! wait! did everything in my excitement except turning extension on! it works! yay
    the error message came up at first applying the script, but didn't appear when moving token around like when i first tried.
    will continue to test and see. thx
