Rolled Die Stuck on Chat Window Frame?
During our last session, I had a d20 roll appear to get "stuck" without landing on a face. What happened is the die just sat there, not quite landed and the result didn't resolve (appear in the chat) for about 5+ seconds. It appeared the die itself was slightly propped up on the chat frame, and that it eventually landed after some delay. Like if a physical die was rolled and it got stuck on something so it couldn't land flat.
There's probably no way to reliably recreate this issue, and ultimately the die roll did resolve (just a long wait). It could've just been some other processing completely unrelated to the dice physics. It did appear that the die was stuck on the edge of the chat box frame though, as if the chat box frame had some height. Whatever happened it seems pretty unlikely and low impact.
The d20 was rolled by the GM from an NPC on the combat tracker (not thrown in chat box). Everything was observed from the GM client.

This is expected. Just like in a real-life physical environment, the dice can get wedged against the side so that they aren't flat. There's a five second timeout to ensure that dice that are wedged (or fall through the world) are resolved.

Sometimes the dice can even "fall from the table".
