    Me - when is the game? In Eastern Time? TY.
    A pal of mine and I are trying online games. We've played multiple FGU games at low level now.
    The first game, run by pal, is a weary boring combat that never ends but never has interesting details. DM is a pushover.
    We tried a pay2play online game, but almost no combat and then never has interesting details. DM is a pushover.
    We want to be challenged. To have an interesting combat map, with sightlines, vision limits, with light/heavy concealment and cover, with
    tactical movement. We both WoD LARPed so can roleplay. We also like a kinda 'battletech' feel in combat, with tight play needed.
    Sound like something you can offer?

    Game start would be about 19:00 Eastern Time I believe, if BST is to be believed.

    If that's what you guys are looking for, I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Since this campaign is usually more for beginners, we can roll with that and I can tune it to be more challenging, or try something else that actually has teeth.
    These are the kind of questions I would usually cover during session 0;

    - what kind of game do you want? should the focus be on story, combat, puzzles?
    - how attached are you going to be to your characters (should I take it easy, or crank up the challenge?)
    - do you prefer heavy roleplay first-person kind of experience, or a more third-person kind of storytelling

    etc, etc

    It sounds like you want something that is perhaps grittier, low-fantasy with less of a margin for error; something analytical like a top-down strategy wargame...? Am I on the right track?
