    Question about the Beginner's Box

At some point I would like to try PF2 and I was told that the Beginner Box is the ideal way to get the party started. When it is out, will it require purchase of the Pathfinder 2 RPG - Core Rules from the store or I can run it stand-alone?

Moved to a much nicer place!

The Beginner Box will be stand alone, and will allow PC progression up to level 3 with the 4 classes provided. The follow up adventure Troubles in Otari adds level 4 options. You can do a one time migration of the PC data from a Beginner Box PC to a Core Rules PC.

Sounds great to playtest the game! Any idea when it will be available?

Somewhere after release 18 and before release 19!

It'll still be at least 4 weeks off I would imagine. Having to juggle multiple pieces of FG work at the moment. Although I will be testing it at FG Con 16!

    Valyar,

I absolutely love the P2 ruleset. You might want to check you tube and search for 'Pathfinder basics' I am always re-watching some of those as they are so helpful.

I think the channel has been renamed, try this: How It's Played

Any update on the Beginner's box? I didn't watch the last stream so if something was mentioned there, please let me know.

I did mention it on Fantasy Grounds Fridays. It's still being worked on. No ETA as yet.
