    Again for comparison.

31-01 v4.1 Test, empty (!) image, full-screen, locked, LoS enabled, Lighting enabled:

WoW Shadowlands, Heart of the Forrest, Hearthstone spawn-point, 0° looking towards wall, Quality 10 (maximum!) + CMAA:

    Again: any more information needed?

Another comparison to better judge the proportions of GPU load on my system:

31-01 v4.1 Test, empty (!) image, full-screen, locked, LoS enabled, Lighting enabled:

WoW, Shadowlands, maximum (!) settings + CMAA:

Quick test on my system :
no FGU GPU 24% CPU 5%
FGU on, start page 24% 8%
FGU campaign on, no image 24% 6%
FGU campaign on, no los, no light 24% 8%
FGU campaign on, los on, no light 29% 6%
FGU campaign on, los on, lights on 35% 8% vsync 0
FGU campaign on, los on, lights on 100% 10% vsync 1
FGU campaign on, los on, lights on 97% 10% vsync 2
FGU campaign on, los on, lights on 96% 10% vsync 3
FGU campaign on, los on, lights on 96% 10% vsync 4

RTX 2070 super, ryzen 9 3900x, 24 different lights on + light on token
So 6% more than los alone and 11% more than no light + no los.
The real dealbreaker here is vsync. I keep it at 0.

VSync 0 is not the same as VSync on/1, though. But great find, because it should give the developers a good clue on where to look for the culprit. Thanks for that!

PS: I don't seem to measure a difference between 0 and 1, while 2-4 lower GPU load. Tested with an empty image. Let's see what the next version brings, since several people reported the same problems now.

Tried "/vsync on" and "/vsync off". Both leads to "Video Sync Rate is 1".

yes, 0 = fixed 60 fps, 1 = match OS frame rate, 2 = half OS frame rate, 3 = third OS frame rate, 4 = quarter OS frame rate. I don't know what is my "OS frame rate" though. Could be interesting to find it. It is probably way higher than 60.

You may be using a 144 Hz oder 240 Hz display. Anyway, even at 60 fps the GPU load of FGU is too high for what it does (literally nothing on a blank image).
