This came up in a recent game, and no one could seem to find the answers we needed, so...

If anyone knows, could they please explain the differences and lasting effect of "daze", "confuse", and "stun" ..

They're explained in the glossary in the back of the Player's Handbook, before the index.

I also list all the conditions in my Combat Cheat Sheet in the armory - because, yeah, it breaks the flow of the game to look them up. You can download it here if you want.
