Can I clone items or spells/powers to see how they were built?
Code:I'd like to clone and edit items/spells/powers, etc. so I can examine them. This would really be helpful as I build my own things Thank you in advance for your help! Tom

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here.
You can copy a record (drag/drop within the campaign data list) and then view the copied record. Unlock it to see all of the fields and data.
If this isn't what you're asking, please provide more information on exactly what you're looking for.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. Thanks, Trenloe. I didn't see how to do this.
I'll try it out and see what happens.
Appreciate it.

Hi, Trenloe. I thought I understood what you asked. So from the Items window I dragged a Longsword +1 to one of my campaign groups, InceptionOSR_Gear. I still can't unlock it to see fields and data.
I must be missing something obvious.
Thanks so much for your help!

Dragging something to a group just moves the record - it doesn't copy it. Drag/drop the record link within the same window - literally drag it a couple of pixels.

That's the standard way for the GM to copy records - it applies to most record types, including PCs, NPCs, classes, etc., etc..

That's great to know. Monsters/NPCs is another thing I want to examine. Classes as well.
