Unity and passwords

One of my players got a new computer and had to put a new copy of Fantasy Grounds Unity on it. Apparently he is having problems logging in and is also having problems with his password reset when he is redirected to the forums password reset page. I don't remember if I had to log in or not when I initially installed Unity but I do remember my first game got off to a slow start because a couple of players had a similar issue. I am having a difficult time helping my player troubleshoot the issue.

Does unity require a player to have a password and user name to use it? If so, is that only if I am using the cloud rather than LAN?

Unity requires everyone to have a valid forum account and log in to the software using that account.
