Anyone been able to port forwards on Eircom F2000 router?
Have set rule on the router to forward port 1802 on tcp (and tried ucp/tcp) and still unable to open the port using a static IP.
Has anyone been successful on setting up fort forwarding on a Eircom (Ireland ISP using rebranded huawei F2000 router)?

great it doesnt look like anything as changed on the ISP side - so as long as the Router supports Port Forwarding it shoudl work
One thing to note- your Windows computer may have detected this as a new network and reset the profile back to Public - set it to Private to set appropriate security for home (and port forwarding)

Windows had reset me back to a public network but setting it to private again hasn't made a difference. It still fails the test within FG. Really weird as I'm 100% sure the router is set correct for port forwarding.
I appreciate your help btw.

Solved it!!
Leaving the external host address blank worked.
Thanks for taking the time to reply
