    Leagues of Adventure: Does anyone play this?

    Hello everyone.
    I have been reading the forum and researching different rule sets in order to find games that would fit me best.
    As a newcomer to RP and FG it has been somewhat of an adventure learning what's out there, so many worlds to choose from.
    The ones that have caught my eye so far are Call of Cthulhu, Savage Worlds "Rippers/R-resurrected", Malifaux RPG, and finally Leagues of Adventure.
    Having now read about these systems in more depth I am keen to try them all but Leagues of Adventure is the one that makes me smile every time I think about it.
    It has everything I always dreamed about from a game, and always thought, why has nobody ever made a PC rpg like this.
    A Victorian Gentleman Explorer, steampunk aspects, expeditions to exotic locations, remote jungles, native tribes and cannibal's, dangerous beasts, and deadly swamps.
    It really does fulfil a dreamed of life.
    From what I have read so far it also has sections on actually organising the equipment, funds, travel to the destination etc.
    Then there are modules that introduce dark occult magic and demonic sects.
    Please tell me there are groups that play this system, it would make me a very happy gentleman

    Edit;
    I hope its allowed, I have taken the liberty of adding a link to the review section on DriveThroughRPG for this system. The first review about says it all as to why this appeals to me so much

    And they also do Leagues of Cthulhu - gothic horror in a similar vein to the main Leagues of Adventure. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product...also_purchased

    And also Cthulhu mythos focused: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product...ues-of-Cthulhu

    If you didn't know, Triple Ace Games (the publishers) did a lot of Savage Worlds material before they moved to developing their new settings using the Ubiquity RPG system. It has a similar feel to their earlier Savage Worlds products.

    Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!
