Can the default be changed from public cloud server to private server?

Prepping for a game building characters and somebody came in and owned the characters I had out. It took a bit to figure out this was caused because the default setup is a public not private server.

The characters and campaigns are saved as local xml so I do not think I lost anything in switching to private - cloud is only used to host the game right? But how as GM do I now remove the unwanted public server owner of the character so it goes back to owned by nobody? I do not have an ultimate license, so not sure how someone could even join my game.

Right-click on the character in the selection screen and release the character

So I am correct no cloud storage is actually used? Maybe we can make private the default rather than public, as surely this is a common mistake!

When I realized this is what happened I exited and changed to private cloud server thinking that would release the player and saw it still said owned by, so I exited to post.

But now when restart I regardless of I select private or public cloud server I get 'Cloud server already exists for your Fantasy Grounds account. Unable to start server:" So switching server type worked only once and now I cannot get back in.

nvm turns out my mouse double clicked and I had two FGU up. However that raises an issue how do I restore the FGC local host functionality to run a second session for the player map on my PC since it is not allowing a second session to connect like FGC did?

'clear owner' did work to remove the rogue player.

localhost still works. "Join Campaign" with the second instance - don't try to load the same campaign, that's why you're getting the "Cloud server already exist..." message.
Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!

Only for campaigns started in the LAN mode

For cloud campaigns: Join yourself with a second instance as if you would be a player

Start FGU, Right click on the application, select name of program above where it says pin/unpin to taskbar. That will launch a 2nd instance.
