Inserting and continuing a wall with line of sight

Let's say I decided to add a secret door leading to a small pantry in a map that I've already built. Is there a way to insert new points into an existing wall so that I can shape it into the pantry before adding a door? Or do I have to delete that entire wall first and rebuild?

Draw a new wall across the existing one - a new point will be created where they intersect.
