Going to learn and run SWADE for real this time!

Ok, I'm ready to take the SW plunge and need some guidance on the best videos, etc that will get me up to speed on the basics for running a game. Obviously I'll learn most of the system as I go along but need an idea of what to focus on to get things off the ground the quickest.

I presume you ask for ruleset-related information, as it needs some learning to play in the most optimal way. Because in order to learn SWADE... you have to read the rulebook, there is no shortcut there.


The ruleset documentation is quite old (both the PDF and the Wiki, but worth reading), so the most up-to-date videos are from Dave on FG channel:

Thanks Doswelk. That's 8AM for me and so I missed your post and the session start. I'll jump in on Twitch for a little bit have some errands to run later this morning so might have to bail out at some point.

Unfortunately, his games are 8AM for me and that's a bad time. Right now, about the best I can do is try and watch the twitch stream on my phone with no access to FG. That might change after the 1st of the year though so here's hoping.
