Weapon Specialization - automation?

How do people handle this? Is there a way to do it automatically without having to manually edit each weapon you pick up?
Characters just reached level 3, but it wasn't added to the damage automatically.

I tried a search but got...
The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search:

Not at this time. You need to manually edit the weapon entry on the Actions tab to add the bonuses
