Gothic Theme - tiled, looks terrible

I purchased the Gothic Theme in anticipation of our weekend Halloween games. I think it will add a great feel.

However, on any display size other than 1080, it looks terrible. FGU seems to tile the background image. It should really be doing something else. Crop out the bottom, or centre and crop sides. Scale. Anything other than tiling.

    Please help.

It looks like it needs the graphics setting in the "decal" section of the desktop graphics config - so that there will only be one graphic displayed (but no scaling). Discussed in this thread, starting here, with lots of examples of how it could look on larger than 1080p monitors: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...l=1#post492996

    Good day zuilin,
Unfortunately, the way FG handles the desktop is to tile it to accommodate different screen resolutions. I am trying to figure out a workaround presently to address your concerns.

It's such a great looking theme, I'd love it to look its best for all of my players!

Thank you! I too would like that very much, what resolution are you currently running?

Depends on the compy... right now on my laptop (away from external monitor) 2304x1440; at home on monitor, 3440x1440. Often I use my laptop at 2048x1280. My eyes aren't what they used to be...

Consider using the decal setup within the desktop framedef. This means it won’t tile when the desktop is bigger than the graphic. Information on that here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...l=1#post505239

Nah. I run a custom decal that has to do with the adventure being played. I guess I won't be using the theme after all.

I have a fix almost complete, it has taken some doing, but I am nearly there.
