No Portraits Shown Although Files Are There

I've set up a free FGU version on my wife's laptop, connected to my Ultimate server and created a PC (shared PHB and Rob 2es Class features). Afterwards I tried to select a portrtait for the character, but none were shown in the Asset area. The files SmiteWork.ppk, FantasyPortraits.ppl) are available in the folder. Module SRD Data is loaded as well.

Any hints on this?

Assets from the DM are not shared with the players at the moment. You could use this extension https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...-Grounds-Unity. When you go into assets (at the bottom there will be two new tabs) drag and drop the portraits, tokens you want to share with your players to there.

Interesting. I dowlnloaded mod and ext and now can share tokens - but not portraits?

I never tried with portraits before, thought it would work the same as for tokens

Portraits may "appear" the same as tokens, but their architecture is quite different. When you click on the portrait field in a PC sheet it will only display portraits installed locally on the PC, the GM can't share portraits with players and players can't share portraits either.

It's specifically designed to allow players to decide on a portrait to use for their PCs. Allowing them to create an image, download one from the Internet, etc., etc..

But why can't a player with a free license access the portrait files which are stored in his data folder? They seem to have been copied there by the installation routine, no?

To help us get an idea of what might be causing the issue, please provide screenshots from the players side of the following:
1) The Portraits assets window. If this shows a data "bag", please double-click on the bag a provide a screenshot of the content of the "data" folder. If there is no "data" folder then please provide a screenshot of the portraits assets folder as is.
2) The window that appears when the player clicks on the portrait field in a character sheet.

Following this as well. Players can't find tokens or other assets no matter what I'm trying.

Welcome to FG.

Players cannot access anything from the Assets folder. To add a portrait to a player character click on the blank (or existing) portrait square on the character sheet and this will open the portraits available for selection. Players cannot access tokens or images at all.
