Minimal working ruleset
As I'm trying to understand the general how it works, I tried to just make a blank ruleset:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<root version="3.0" release="1" logo="logo.png">
<announcement text="TestSystem ruleset v3.3.2 for Fantasy Grounds" font="emotefont" icon="rulesetlogo_CoreRPG" />
<description>
<text>TestSystem</text>
<author>Me</author>
</description>
</root>
which of course throws a lot of errors.
So my question is: Is there any minimalistic ruleset created that covers all the Required built-in elements of the system, or I have to dig them manually out of CoreRPG?

CoreRPG is your lowest common denominator. If that has too much in, then you're going to have to trim that down.
EDIT: There were some skeleton rulesets available many years ago, I don't know if they would work and give you any less errors.
You may also be able to just build a ruleset up trying to address the errors, but I imagine that could be a lot of work.
I'd recommend you try to keep as much of CoreRPG as possible, because this gives you a lot of standard generic functionality.Last edited by Trenloe; June 20th, 2020 at 19:57.

But is there any documentation describing what is built-in?

From a functionality perspective, see the Wiki here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...1/Basic+Guides
