Fate core question for anyone that has used it

With the basic rule set can the skills be changed. As in rename two and add one or two more. Interested in running my modified Fate set up but need to expand a bit past the core rule skills.

Use the blank skills extension. You can then enter the skills list you want.

Thanks, I will give buying it a go and see what I can do. Fate's like 5 bucks I think so I have little to loose.
