Fantasy Grounds Crashing repeatedly

I've been trying to set up characters for a new campaign and for some reason today the program keeps crashing randomly while we are working on things. Using the 5E ruleset and the only extension I have is one for a custom calendar that hasn't caused any problems before. I'm using the same FG campaign as the one before that ran perfectly fine for four years with one crash, and that was while I was prepping stuff and had accidentally left it on all night. It's not giving any error message upon crash, just closes, but does have the typical backup message upon rebooting. Any ideas or any other reports of this happening in this newest version?

After some trial and error it only seems to happen when someone is trying to change their portrait, and immediately upon them attempting it.

FGC or FGU? What file type is the portrait? How large is the image in pixels? Where are they trying to select the portrait from? (i.e. steps to reproduce)

Sounds like they're trying to load a large sized file as their portrait. Resize it down to less than 200x200 pixels (FG will only use 100x100 or even less, depending on the ruleset).
